St. David's employs two registered nurses to ensure a nurse is always on campus during the school day to serve the St. David’s community by providing individualized quality healthcare to our students and employees.

St. David’s school counselor walks alongside students as they navigate the emotional, social, and academic journey of growing up. Through one-on-one conversations, small groups, and collaboration with teachers and families, Ms. Adair Sheppard helps students build resilience, develop healthy habits, and feel known and supported throughout their time on campus.

Our athletic trainer plays a vital role in supporting the health and performance of our student-athletes. From injury prevention and care to hydration and recovery, Mr. Mikko Ablan is a consistent presence on campus, ensuring athletes feel safe, supported, and ready to compete.

In addition to our Director of Safety and Security, a member of the Raleigh Police Department is present on campus each school day, serving in an off-duty capacity to help ensure the safety and well-being of our community. These outstanding officers rotate throughout the week and work closely with our Director of Safety and Security to offer a steady, supportive presence that enhances our campus safety.

All visitors to campus are required to check in upon arrival, allowing us to monitor and maintain a secure environment for our students and staff.
