Lower School Academic Highlights
St. David's Lower School seeks to engage and challenge students' minds and capture the joy and excitement of learning.
The Lower School program, grades Pre-K-4, establishes a strong foundation upon which St. David’s students begin their academic journey. The Lower School seeks to engage and challenge the students’ minds and capture the joy and excitement of learning, as we meet their developmental needs and set them up for success in the Middle and Upper Schools.
Our Lower School curriculum emphasizes the core subjects of reading, mathematics and written expression, and also places importance on science, social studies and the integration of concepts throughout different disciplines in order to develop each student’s foundational learning and critical thinking. Pre-kindergarteners through fourth graders also participate in daily physical exercise and a wide array of exciting enrichments in academics, fine arts, Spanish and STEAM.
